BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
I am a
consultant, coach, and organizational development practitioner who
specializes in helping individuals, organizations, and systems
achieve greater levels of effectiveness. I've designed, developed,
and conducted group problem solving, team and community building
interventions for clients that include Bell Atlantic, The
Rockefeller Foundation, ACNielsen, and the U.S. Department of
Commerce and the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs.
Especially concerned with multicultural issues and values, I am the
originator of the Diversity Circle Dialogue Method, a discussion
group format on diversity. The Diversity Circle Dialogue Method has
been used by Princeton University, the New Jersey State Supreme
Court Task Force on Minority Concerns, The American Association of
University Women, the Hoechst Celanese corporation and elsewhere as
a means of building community and nurturing the development of
multicultural teams and task forces.
As a coach, I specializes in
working with leaders, entrepreneurs, and individuals in transition.
I am the co-founder of the Diversity and Spirituality Network, an
emergent community that explores the diversity and spirituality
nexus through workshops and symposia.
An accomplished writer,
my work has been published in more than 100 newspapers and
magazines, including The New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer,
The National Catholic Leader, The National Leader, New Realities,
East-West, The Tokyo Journal, Atlanta Magazine, and Princeton Alumni
Weekly.
I've also appeared on numerous television and radio
networks, including CNN and the Associated Press Radio Network, plus
has written regular columns for publications that include The
Atlanta Constitution, Nouveau and New Frontier. |
